Claims Technician – Workers Compensation

Job Summary
Responsible for the general support of the Tribal Workers’ Compensation Unit assuming full responsibility for all phases of clerical management for staff and accounts as assigned including, but not limited to, claim setup, form completion, medical bill processing and other duties as assigned.

Senior Risk Control Consultant

Job Summary
Provides consultative risk control services to AMERIND members and customers, working in an advisory capacity to make risk management and safety recommendations. Brings value to clients and broker partners, protecting assets, mitigating losses, and reducing the likelihood of loss. Serves AMERIND Underwriting with detailed reports from commercial property surveys, liability risk assessments, transportation audits, high hazard evaluations, and risk control evaluations.

Performs a variety of routine to complex day-to-day operations that involve processing of transactions, reconciliation of accounts, preparing invoices and making entries in the accounting system. Must understand workflows and be able to adapt and create change as the process is constantly evolving. Provides input on new auto software implementation. Ability to balance attentiveness to detail with deadlines and prioritization needs.

Workers’ Compensation Claims Representative I

Incumbent handles Tribal Workers’ Compensation claims. Responsible for all technical aspects of claim management for assigned files including compliance with the AMERIND Risk Benefit Endorsement, Tribal Ordinances (when applicable) and all established performance guidelines. Caseload will consist of medical only claims and less complicated loss time claims.  Should also have familiarity with general claims handling software. This individual demonstrates positive and professional relationships with Members, Brokers, and clients.
